Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an entry-level Field Sales Representative to provide customer service and meet sales targets for financial products within the assigned district. You will build client relationships, understand needs, and promote a broad range of financial options through the Consumer Sales team.

Responsibilities include maintaining high-value accounts, cross-selling, and staying compliant with regulations while developing product knowledge through training.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience (entry-level role, see notes)
• Proficient computer and technology skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Working knowledge of relevant financial regulations
• Demonstrated influencing and relationship-management skills

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain high value accounts by providing expert and professional advice and promoting portfolios and other financial products
• Cross-sell an expansive set of products and services to existing customers
• Analyze client interests, problems, and potential needs for new products and services
• Process service requests for clients to achieve transfers with low rejection rates
• Attend internal training to maintain product and regulatory knowledge
• Achieve or exceed sales targets set by management
• Adhere to laws governing Telesales in a complex sales environment
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and Citigroup policies
