Monks is seeking an Art Director to join our US-based creative team. You will craft high-quality visual designs for digital ads, emails, websites, and presentations, collaborating with copywriters and other creatives to tell compelling stories.

You will present work to client partners, translate creative direction from leads, and ensure consistent quality across multiple projects while aligning with our culture and values.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience as an art director or in a design role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Online portfolio showing concept and design-driven digital work across web, email, social, video, etc.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; motion skills are a plus.

We're looking for an Art Director to join our US-based creative team. They will be creating digital marketing communications spanning email, digital ad campaigns, videos, websites, and presentations for one of the world's best-known tech brands. The right candidate is comfortable collaborating with copywriters and other creatives, has some experience presenting creative work to clients, and is passionate about innovation and storytelling. They can stay humble while pushing the work forward in an environment that encourages expression, inclusivity, and curiosity.

What you’ll do:

• Create high-quality visual designs, from concept to execution, for digital ads, social media, email, presentations, and out-of-home.
• Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Present concepts and designs directly with our client partners using clear language.
• Take creative direction from creative leads on various projects.
• Partner with copywriters and collaborate with other designers, developers, and creative leads to produce high-quality integrated visual designs.

• Maintain consistent creative quality in deliverables.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently and manage varying deadlines.
• Be a standard bearer for our culture and values.
• Work primarily PST hours.

Who we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an art director or within a design capacity.
• Advanced English is a must
• An online portfolio showing both concept and design-driven digital work within various formats including web, email, social, video, etc.
• Proficiency in digital design tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite with ability to learn new tools as required. (AfterEffects and motion skills, a plus)
• Solid understanding of typography, illustration, and layout; making things look beautiful comes natural to you.
• Must be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and AI innovations.
• Experience collaborating across Google Apps (ie. Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Understanding of UX principles and their applications across the web, email and beyond.
• Presentation design experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and follow brand guidelines.
• Someone who can multitask on various projects and timelines.
• Someone who thrives in a team environment but can succeed independently as well.
• A strong passion for pop culture and staying on top of what's trending.
