Qualifications

• Experience in archival work, preferably with digital collections.
• Strong knowledge of archival principles and metadata schemas (ISAD(G), ISAAR(CPF), Dublin Core).
• Proficiency with archival management software and digital asset management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Organize, catalog, and classify digitized historical documents and metadata.
• Develop and maintain descriptive records and finding aids for digital archives.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of archival data.
• Implement and adhere to digital preservation policies and procedures.
• Manage digital storage systems and ensure security and integrity of archived files.
• Assist researchers and staff in accessing digitized materials.
• Monitor storage media and plan migrations and format conversions.
• Collaborate with digitization teams to ensure quality control of new materials.
• Stay updated on best practices in digital archiving and preservation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to access policies.
