Job Description

Become one of the authors of our story. Join our team as Area Sales Manager, West and Central from Susurros del Corazon in Punta de Mita and Etereo in Riviera Maya, both in Mexico. The Area Sales Manager, West and Central is responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure business in accordance with the collection's strategic plan to maximize room revenue during peak and non-peak periods. The role reports directly to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the revenue team to ensure that the leisure sales strategy aligns with the properties' business needs. The position currently represents 2 Auberge Resorts in Latin America. This is a home-based role, with a preferred location of Texas or California.

  • Oversee account and production goals in the assigned region.
  • Support the collection revenue goals by generating leisure business at each hotel.
  • Organize and schedule direct sales efforts via phone, email, and in person, with an average of 5 prospecting efforts per day.
  • Support and participate in weekly Revenue Management calls, scheduled conference calls with the Area Director of Sales, and property-specific calls as needed.
  • Accurately maintain and build a Sales force database of clients. Responsible for the overall accuracy of the regional database, etc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in a related position within a luxury hotel sales environment.
  • Demonstrated record of driving sales revenues in a hotel environment.

Desirable

  • Prior experience selling multiple properties or brands.
  • Prior experience in international hotels/resorts.
  • Prior experience working in a remote sales office setting.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
  • Prior experience working with professional organizations that support leisure.
