Auberge Resorts is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their luxury portfolio team. The role is home-based with responsibilities centered on driving leisure sales revenue, managing client accounts, and collaborating closely with the revenue team. Ideal candidates have significant luxury hotel sales experience and demonstrate exceptional sales acumen. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Formación

Become one of the authors of our story. Join our team as Area Sales Manager, West and Central from Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita and Etereo in Riviera Maya, both in Mexico. The Area Sales Manager, West and Central is responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure business in accordance with the collection's strategic plan to maximize room revenue during peak and non-peak periods. The role reports directly to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the revenue team to ensure that the leisure sales strategy aligns with the properties' business needs. The position currently represents 2 Auberge Resorts in Latin America. This is a home-based position, with a preferred location in Texas or California.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing account and production goals in the assigned region.
  2. Supporting the collection revenue goals by generating leisure business at each hotel.
  3. Organizing and scheduling direct sales efforts via phone, email, and in person, with an average of 5 prospecting efforts per day.
  4. Supporting and participating in weekly Revenue Management calls, scheduled conference calls with the Area Director of Sales, and property-specific calls as needed.
  5. Accurately maintaining and building a Salesforce database of clients, ensuring overall accuracy of the regional database.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a luxury hotel sales environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales revenue in a hotel environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling multiple properties or brands.
  • Experience working in international hotels/resorts.
  • Experience working remotely in a sales office setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working with professional organizations supporting leisure travel.
