Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of 20 to 60 Amazon Associates in a sort center environment. The role focuses on motivating, mentoring, coaching, and ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and engagement during shifts.

You will communicate policies, drive recognition programs, and partner with the management team to maintain high standards while supporting OSHA compliance and a strong customer-centric operation at the world's largest online retailer.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 60 Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
