Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Knowledge of CEFR level B2/C1 English proficiency

Responsabilidades

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates.
  • Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
  • Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
  • Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
  • Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Develop performance goals and objectives to meet customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.

Description As an Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. As a servant leader, you will ensure that your team of Amazon Associates has all the tools needed to succeed in any task during a shift. Engaging with your team to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance, and engagement are core functions of the role. What is fulfillment, you ask? Fulfillment refers to completing a customer's Amazon.com order through the processes of picking, packing, shipping, and delivering their order to meet or exceed their expectations!

  • This position is not a corporate role and will be located in a Fulfillment Center
Key job responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates.

  • Support all safety programs compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.

  • Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.

This role requires working on a 4x3 or 5x2 schedule. The position requires shift rotation 2-3 times per year.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Knowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of logistics operations experience
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
  • Knowledge of six Sigma/Lean processes
