Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. You will motivate, mentor and coach your team, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and engagement are maintained during shifts.

You will operate in a fast-paced fulfillment setting, driving performance, policy adherence and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on leadership and team development.

Formación

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience with six sigma tools and Lean techniques.
• MBA, or Master's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 30 to 100 Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
• This role requires to work on a 4x3 or 5x2 journal.
• The position rotates shifts at least 2-3 times per year.
• This is not a remote position.
