Hussmann is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Quality Assurance lead to drive APQP/PPAP activities across NPI, sourcing, and manufacturing teams. You will ensure timely quality plans for product changes and launches, and act as the Operations representative in project reviews.

The role requires deep experience in APQP, PFMEA, and control plans, with an emphasis on bridging design and manufacturing while guiding cross-site teams through AIAG guidelines.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in OEM or Tier 1 environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of APQP and AIAG product launch guidelines.
• Experience with PPAP/D/PFMEA and control plans.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate on-time delivery of product quality plans addressing NUDs, CTQs, and fixture risks.

• Assist MAB readiness and risk scoring; monitor new product launches with Early Launch Containment.
• Support QMS administration with SharePoint and Power BI; assist Hussmann quality initiatives.

Resumen

Lead quality planning activities within Hussmann's NPI/COD/VAVE/Sourcing processes and the project team to insure effective quality planning is taking place during product development, sourcing, Manufacturing Assessment builds (MAB) and launch.

Responsabilidades

Principal Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead AIAG AQP activities in NPI process and in other product changes. Represent the Operations team in ongoing project review meetings. During those meetings, this role will be responsible for confirming completion of Operations related deliverables or raising objections to and escalating issues that would interfere with quality or manufacturing performance.
• Engage with project teams to ensure on time delivery of product quality plans to address NUDs, CTQs, and Check fixture risks resulting from product changes and launches. Facilitate design reviews with the operations teams to identify and address manufacturing and quality deficiencies relative to the product design, or the manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Serve as Hussmann's SME on APQP and PPAP methodologies, including training cross functional teams at all sites and adjusting APQP methodology to establish quality planning standards that align with NPI methodologies and standards.
• Identify possible design deficiencies at early stages and bridge gaps between the design and manufacturing and sourcing. Work with the Operations teams in reviewing engineering specifications and test criteria to assure the manufacturing and testing process can meet the specification requirements.
• Assist with the Manufacturing Assessment Build (MAB) to assure readiness of the plant and assigned plant teams. Assist during the MAB to identify issues and assign a risk score for prioritization of corrective actions. Work with the FQS teams to assist with monitoring of new product launches using Early Launch Containment practices.
• Support Hussmann Quality Management System Administration, use Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI to support various metric tracking activities. Familiarity with SQL programing a plus.
• Assist in supporting other Hussmann quality initiatives and improvements as required using the Hussmann Behaviors for Success to deliver on the Hussmann Promise to continuously provide the most customer-focused solutions in the food retailing industry.

Scope & Dimensions

This position will support the entire Hussmann business ... all 4 Hussmann assembly plants, CIG and CRD, PAPRSA, and corporate quality Project Management activities. This position will support Panasonic/Hussmann NA synergy initiatives where applicable

Professional Experience

• 10 years of total experience in:

• Quality Engineering.
• Industrial Engineering.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong background in:
• APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
• Project Management.
• D/PFMEA (Design/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Control Plans.
• Other standard AIAG product launch guidelines.
• Preferred experience in environments:
• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
• Tier 1 Supplier.

Required Experience
