CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the business’s priorities and needs to Information Systems. Develop an IS work plan for the year based on business priorities. Manage each project throughout the year from concept, designing, testing, training, communication, and implementation.
- Develop high-level requirement specifications to gain programming time and cost estimates; analyze and identify the savings (ROI) generated by enhanced or new functions being requested.
- Collaborate with IS to develop design specifications for each change, test, train appropriate individuals, and implement any new or enhanced system.
- Develop material and train Sales Rep Phase Training classes 1 through 4 on the business system. Conduct Sales Rep Webinars for continued training each quarter. Present the business system to customers and GPOs.
- Review and prioritize all system change requests for all organization business systems software applications.
- Provide business system user administration and support, and process all new user setups, both internal and external.
- Develop automated pricing formularies with Sales Operations.
Management responsibilities include
- Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
- May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact.
- Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects.
- Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
- Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
- Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 3 years minimum of project management experience.
Additional
- Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Ability to apply concepts of algebra and business statistics.
