• Más de 8 años de experiencia como arquitecto de soluciones con experiencia práctica en diseño de soluciones.

Application Solution Architect

What can you expect:

• As an Application Solution Architect within Corporate Information Solutions, you will be responsible for driving/implementing Solution Architecture best practice across our CIS teams.
• Reporting to the Head of CIS Shared Services Enterprise Architect, you will provide technical expertise, strategic direction, and thought mentorship to our team of global Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Software Engineers enabling them to deliver solutions aligned with our technical strategy.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders across our organization, contributing towards the successful delivery of business goals whilst adhering to technical strategy, driving innovation, and promoting reuse through effective solution design.
• In addition, you will be responsible for managing the technical domain architecture across the CIS application portfolio.

We will count on you to:

• Work with our partners to understand business and technology problems or opportunities.
• Provide process, guidance, and governance on technology obsolescence, component reuse, and platform modernization.
• Design, document, and communicate solution designs that accommodate the Agile Principles of fail fast and provide the resilience necessary to accommodate changing and fluid requirements.
• Incorporate reuse, standardization, and security-by-design into your solution designs to simplify, secure, and accelerate technology delivery.
• Be innovative in your design thinking and use your expertise to influence the technology roadmap.
• Take your architectural designs through our onboarding processes to ensure they meet standards and conventions.
• Participate in architecture reviews as part of the Architecture Assurance process.
• Provide technical expertise on key initiatives that have a departmental impact (such as the cloud acceleration program).
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solution architecture.
• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of problems, a proactive attitude towards learning, and a commitment to acquiring any necessary knowledge to ensure the success of your team.
• Empower the development teams to deliver your architectural designs with a light touch approach.
• Be an involved member of our technology community, championing the latest technologies and trends within MMC and the wider industry, sharing your knowledge, successes, and learnings with your colleagues.
• Bring a shift-left mentality, ensuring that automation and efficiencies are enabled through the solution design.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience of 8+ years as a solution architect with hands-on experience in solution design.
• An expert understanding of solution architecture standards and best practices.
• Extensive experience designing solutions and working prototypes that can be rapidly built, tested, and deployed using Agile best practices.
• Led complex technical design projects and products with many stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship building skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with senior business and technology partners.
• Advanced communication skills at all levels, including the ability to convey complex technical strategy and obstacles to senior business and technology partners.
• In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, data insights, and modernization patterns.

What makes you stand out:

• Proficient in MEAN stack, Python, or any other middleware technologies.
• AWS Cloud (Azure, GCP, OCI is optional).
• Microservice-based architecture.
• Exposure to Big Data / Data Lake / Databrick/LakeHouse/ BI Tools.
• Experience contributing to Open Source projects.
• Experience in developer portal/tools or platform architecture and design.
• Agile/FinOps.
• Recognized document standards (C4, UML, Archimate).
