McDonald’s Global Technology in Mexico City seeks an Engineer II – Application Security to join the cybersecurity team and own building and optimizing security solutions. This hands-on role focuses on securing data flows, tooling, and integrated security into the SDLC.

Work with DevOps, architects, and developers to implement CI/CD security gates, automate checks, and improve security across applications at scale.

Formación

• 3+ years in application security or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with application penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency with SAST and DAST tools.
• Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain application security processes aligned with standards and best practices.
• Integrate security controls and testing into the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Manage and optimize SAST/DAST tooling; reduce false positives and improve developer experience.
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, architects, and product teams to implement CI/CD security gates.
• Stay current with threats and tools; recommend security process improvements.
