We are looking for an Application Scientist to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and small-scale and commercial trial batches.

What you’ll do:

1. Lead technical discussions with customers and account managers.
2. Recommend optimal product selection based on customers' desired target markets and regulatory requirements.
3. Support customer projects with technical (R&D) activities, testing colors for suitable solutions.
4. Coordinate communication between the customer and Sensient’s Regulatory, Sales, & Quality Departments.
5. Travel to customer research and manufacturing sites to promote and support Sensient products.
6. Develop food applications such as seasonings, snacks, processed foods, and bakery products.
7. Bring drive and passion to the team!

What you’ll bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in general science, food science, or equivalent; minimum of five years of industry experience; management experience preferred.
2. Experience leading projects that require product applications to provide color solutions in the food industry.
3. An enthusiastic, creative, and team-oriented approach to creating a positive office environment.
4. English proficiency at 80% or higher.
