A leading company in power solutions is seeking a qualified engineer to develop technical proposals for service solutions based on customer requirements. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and ensuring proposals meet specific technical and profitability standards. Candidates should have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in proposal development, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical technical scope review and formal proposal development.
• Fluent English written and verbal including electrical terminology.
• Knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems and ability to read schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop service solutions proposals for customer review and acceptance based on RFPs.
• Produce customized service proposals ensuring technical specifications are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop clear, concise, and technically sound service solutions proposals for customer review and acceptance based on customer requirements and/or RFP's. These proposals may include multiple services including acceptance testing of electrical power systems and arc flash studies.
• Apply Quote Configurator tool to provide comprehensive quote support to Sales Engineers and associates.
• Produce customized service proposals/quotations ensuring proposal reflects proper scope, required technical specifications, and Vertiv profitability requirements.
• Apply application engineering competencies to identify and recommend applicable service requirements.
• Work with Vertiv sales personnel to define incremental scope and develop service solutions proposals based on the key findings and recommendations raised during system audits, professional assessments and/or electrical testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical technical scope review and formal proposal development.
• Intermediate-Advanced English level (Proficiency Speaking)
• Preferable knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA
• Fluent English written, and verbal required including electrical and mechanical terminology.
• Candidate must have a broad knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Understanding of 3 phase power and working knowledge of batteries, switchgear, and supported products.
• Collaborative skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and product issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
• Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Needs to have a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure design objectives, performance factors, and physical requirements.
• Essential knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA.
