Job summary

Seco Tools is seeking an Application Engineer in the Querétaro, Mexico area to collaborate with the North American Sales Team and global Product Marketing. You will support field sales with training, technical knowledge, and productivity improvements while promoting Seco Tools' cutting solutions across Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and General Engineering sectors.

The role requires 10+ years in metal machining with 5+ years in sales or applications, proficiency in CAD/CAM and CNC programming,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in metal machining industry with 5+ years in sales or applications.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Strong project management and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel 30-50%.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Field Sales Support: act as a technical expert and promote Seco Tools products across industries.
• Project Management: lead cross-functional projects, coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and R&D, and use CRM tools to drive activities.
• Product Portfolio Growth: provide market insights and customer feedback to shape development and champion new product introductions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with the North American Sales Team, local and global, Product Marketing Organizations of Seco Tools products and services. Support field sales and customers with training, technical knowledge, component processing, process documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity gains as required to secure sales.

Key Responsibilities:

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


• 10+ years of experience in the metal machining industry, with 5+ years in sales or applications.


• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.


• Strong project management skills and a collaborative mindset.


• A passion for mentoring others and building relationships.


• Excellent communication skills that inspire and influence.


• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.


• Willingness to travel 30-50%.
