AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an AR/AP Specialist to support the accounting function in our Mexico operation. You will work with the Controller to manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, reconcile data, and assist with reporting and audits.

Your duties include billing, coding supplier invoices in ComputerEase, and ensuring accuracy in product, pricing and shipping details, with opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

Formación

• 3+ years in accounts payable/receivable in clerical accounting.
• Experience with AP/AR and vendor invoicing.
• Familiarity with AI tools to boost productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Completing accounts receivable as needed, billing functions and collections for Box and Service sales.
• Reconciling invoice details including product, quantity, pricing and shipping against purchase orders.
• Process accounts payable, authorizing payment for purchases by coding and entering supplier invoices in ComputerEase job costing software.
• Assisting accounting department with various accounting functions that may require special reports, references, or the collection of data for audits, charts and graphs.
• Verify and resolve invoice discrepancies and documentation.

The responsibility of the accounting department is to oversee all of the operations and procedures regarding the flow of money for our company. All accounting for our branch offices is conducted from the Altamonte Springs office. The AR/AP Specialist job is to work in conjunction with the Controller in assisting her in all accounting procedures and functions as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing accounts receivable as needed, billing functions and collections for Box and Service sales.
• Reconciling of invoice details including product, quantity, pricing and shipping against purchase orders.
• Process accounts payable, authorizing payment for purchases by coding and entering supplier invoices in ComputerEase job costing software.
• Assisting accounting department with various accounting functions that may require special reports, references, or the collection of data for audits, charts and graphs.
• Verify and resolve invoice discrepancies and documentation.

Skill Set :

Education:

• Some college/technical training or certifications, or 2 year Accounting degree

Experience:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable, 3+ years in clerical accounting position
