Birdman in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, seeks a Head of Analytical Laboratory & Sensory Validation to build and lead a world‑class analytical and sensory program. You will shape methodologies, ensure product quality, and align with international standards while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

You will validate tests, oversee GMP processes, and partner with R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams to support global product launches. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Requires 3+ years leading analytical, physicochemical, microbiological, or sensory laboratories.
• Proven experience validating analytical methods (physicochemical or microbiological).
• Experience developing or improving laboratory operations and leading technical teams.
• Background in food, dietary supplements, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing industries.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation and operation of Birdman's analytical laboratory.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for raw materials and finished products.
• Design analytical approaches supporting sensory evaluation and flavor profiling.
• Train and calibrate sensory panels; maintain documentation and SOPs.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA for deviations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams on product development and lifecycle management.
