Baxter International Inc. in Mexico, Baja California, is seeking an Analyst, Purchasing to procure MRO materials and services for the site. The role requires handling shopping carts, POs, and coordinating with Finance to ensure smooth invoicing flows.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in purchasing support, strong communication, and SAP/Microsoft Office proficiency. You will bridge suppliers and internal customers, contributing to site objectives and cost-saving projects.

Formación

• Administrative bachelor’s degree or engineering is required.
• 1–2 years in purchasing support, import/export, or related work.
• Strong communication and relationship management within the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Create shopping carts and purchase indirect materials for value chains.
• Process purchase orders from each Value Stream.
• Monitor open POs and confirm receipt of goods and services.
• Review supplier invoices and coordinate with Finance on flow.
• Manage storage contracts for the MRO department.

Your Role At Baxter

You as, Analyst, Purchasing ; will be responsible for the procurement of all material classified as MRO and services for the site, required to satisfy the company’s objectives; this position requires procurement skills in accordance with company policies following standards and procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

• It starts with the creation of shopping carts, the purchase of indirect materials such as packing, machinery parts, equipment, tools as well as any other identified service, to each one of the value chain areas
• Handles purchase orders from each Value Stream
• Supervise the open purchase orders and the registration of receipt of goods and provisions in each of them.
• Review invoices from the tool crib.
• Coordinates with Finance Department the revision of flow of invoices related to MRO materials and services.
• Responsible to storage contracts for the MRO department
• Works as a bridge with supplier and internal customers
• Provide customer service for services or indirect parts quotations & purchases.
• Support different saving projects.

What will you bring?

• Administrative bachelor’s degree or engineering.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in assistant activities, import export or similar. This role demands strong communication and skills in handling relationships within the organization, together with knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Communication and internal customer service skills, along with proficiency in enterprise resource planning and Microsoft software, are required for this position.
