Mattel Inc. is seeking a Marketing Analyst to support the LATAM Vehicles team, managing Matchbox, Disney·Pixar Cars, and Thomas & Friends portfolios in LATAM. You will analyze market data, support pricing, lifecycle management, and cross-functional marketing material coordination to ensure consistent go-to-market execution.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, collaboration with regional and global teams, and strong Excel/PowerPoint proficiency to drive strategic brand outcomes across markets.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in brand management, consumer goods, retail, or entertainment industries preferred.
  • Experience in multinational or regional environments is a plus.
  • Growth mindset, curiosity and adaptability to changing markets.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with ability to generate insights.

Responsabilidades

  • Support portfolio planning with accurate product information and pricing.

  • Collaborate with licensors and local teams for activations and promotions.

Job Description

The Marketing Analyst supports the LATAM Vehicles marketing team in managing the regional portfolio of Matchbox, Disney·Pixar Cars, and Thomas & Friends.

This role provides analytical, operational, and executional support to ensure effective brand management, portfolio planning, and consistent go-to-market strategies implementation.

Key responsibilities include supporting portfolio planning with accurate product information, pricing for new launches, POS tracking, product lifecycle management, and coordination of marketing materials across multiple touchpoints.

The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional, regional and global teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.

What Your Impact Will Be

Business Support: Assist in the execution of brand and business strategies across LATAM markets, ensuring alignment with regional goals and category priorities.

Market & Competitive Analysis: Compile and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to support portfolio and pricing decisions.

Brand & Product Operations: Manage SKU lifecycle processes, including item setup, portfolio tracking, assortment management, price lists, and discontinuations.

Go-to-Market Coordination: Oversee GTM planning across new product launches, campaign timelines, and commercial priorities, ensuring strategic alignment and execution readiness across digital, PR, retail media, and e-commerce channels. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage the approval flow and distribution of product and marketing assets with internal and external partners.

Licensing & Local Activations: Collaborate with licensors and local teams to ensure brand alignment in activations, promotions, and content adaptation.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and consolidate business KPIs (Gross Sales, POS, Sell-Through, Market Share), ensuring timely reporting and data accuracy.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the Global Brand & Product teams to share market feedback, product insights, and performance updates; support the adaptation of global strategies to regional needs.

Maintain close communication with Sales, Trade, Demand Planning, and Finance to support business planning and execution.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

1-2 years Previous experience in brand management, consumer goods, retail, or entertainment industries is preferred.

Experience in multinational or regional environments is a plus.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to generate insights and propose innovative solutions.

Holistic Business Understanding: Ability to connect brand, product, financial, and operational perspectives.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Anaplan (LPT), Circana and Tableau is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication: Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional and multicultural stakeholders.

Languages: Native Spanish and advanced English required
