Purpose
The Marketing & Promotions Specialist will be a key player in developing, executing, and analyzing our marketing and promotional strategies. This role is crucial for driving sales, enhancing brand visibility, and optimizing our online and offline commercial efforts, with a particular focus on product information management within our Katun OnLine Catalog and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously, particularly within the e-commerce landscape..
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Promotions:
- Lead the end-to-end process of marketing promotions, including ideation, creation, and execution across various channels.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of promotional effectiveness, measuring ROI, sales impact, and customer engagement.
- Manage the full lifecycle of promotions, ensuring timely implementation and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed results and insights during "Junta de Resultados" (Results Meetings) to key stakeholders.
Rebates Management:
- Oversee the creation and administration of customer and channel rebate programs.
- Ensure accurate tracking, processing, and reconciliation of all rebates.
Promotional Items:
- Manage the selection, procurement, and distribution of promotional items for campaigns and events.
- Ensure brand consistency and effectiveness of all promotional merchandise.
Katun OnLine Catalog (KOLC) Management:
- Manage and maintain product information within the Katun OnLine Catalog.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data, including prices, descriptions, and compatibility.
- Develop and implement engaging visual content, such as banners and pop-ups, within the catalog and associated platforms.
Pricing & Product Information Management:
- Maintain and update product pricing, descriptions, and compatibility information across various platforms.
- Oversee the creation and deployment of marketing assets such as banners and pop-ups for online presence.
- Manage "Pricing Cost Sets 31/32" (clarify this if it's a specific system/process) to ensure accurate product costing.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate and interpret comprehensive reports, leveraging data for strategic "Price Decision Tool Build Up."
- Utilize data to inform pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness.
MercadoLibre Management:
- Full management of the company's presence and sales activities on MercadoLibre.
- Optimize product listings, manage campaigns, and oversee customer interactions on the platform.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends on MercadoLibre to identify opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in marketing, promotions management, or e-commerce, preferably in, B2B supplies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Demonstrated experience managing product catalogs or online content, particularly with attention to detail regarding pricing, descriptions, and compatibility (experience with Katun OnLine Catalog specifically is a strong plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level for data analysis and reporting).
- Demonstrated experience managing online marketplaces, especially MercadoLibre, is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
Equipment/Software Utilized
- Proficient computer skills, including intermediate level (or greater) experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Particularly y Excel
- Expertise in Google Analytics
- Strong knowledge on designing software.
