Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sports-related sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze player performance, team dynamics, and game outcomes.
• Identify key trends, patterns, and correlations within sports data to provide strategic insights and recommendations to coaches, scouts, and management.

Requirements

Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a significant focus on sports analytics.

Proven expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering), and experimental design.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

Strong SQL skills for database querying and data extraction.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for sports and a deep understanding of various sports methodologies and rules.

Must be authorized to work in Mexico and reside in or be willing to relocate to the vicinity of Monterrey, Nuevo León .
