Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for performing monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and sector reports. It also involves preparing specific reports in accordance with PepsiCo reporting rules and maintaining an effective control environment. The role requires interaction with business unit control teams and outsourced delivery teams.

Your Impact

As a Control & Rpt Analyst, your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the timely and accurate preparation of US GAAP financial statements, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and OCF as applicable.
  • Preparing and submitting timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reports to the Sector Control Team.
  • Participating in short- and long-term Cash Flow Planning in HFM and preparing monthly variance analysis and reports.
  • Performing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reserves to ensure accuracy during month-end closing.
  • Handling Fixed Asset Accounting and reporting.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating variances, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts and analyzing out-of-balance items.
  • Collaborating with functions to prepare quarterly Balance Sheet Review content.
  • Communicating issues promptly to the Team Lead.
  • Maintaining financial controls by adhering to policies and ensuring compliance with internal controls and PGCS requirements.
  • Supporting corporate and external audits, including US-GAAP and statutory audits.
  • Preparing tax-related reports such as tax packages, CbCr reporting, and deferred taxes calculations.
  • Acting as backup for the retained organization as needed.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Financial technical skills through experience or an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent degree.
  • At least 2 years of work experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • US GAAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience with SAP and HFM/FDM is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work well within a virtual team environment.
  • Action and result-oriented, attentive to deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-motivated.
  • Strong 'can-do' and 'will-do' attitude with a sense of urgency.
