The Magnum Ice Cream Company in Mexico City is seeking a seasoned Risk & Controls leader to strengthen governance across the Americas. You will drive internal controls, oversee SOX compliance, and coordinate remediation with the global risk team.

Responsibilities include evaluating financial controls, guiding remediation plans, supporting audits, and partnering with process owners to sustain robust controls in a dynamic, fast-paced consumer goods environment. Fluency in English required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required (indispensable).
• Solid understanding of business functions and how they interrelate.
• Experience in SOX compliance, audits, and risk management processes.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating business operations for effectiveness.
• Strong stakeholder management with diverse groups, including peers, leaders and third parties.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for financial and non-financial audiences.
• 7+ years in finance, focusing on risk management, SOX controls and auditing.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business risks and ensure solid internal controls, systems and processes to effectively manage risk areas.
• Ensure controls within the Global Internal Control Framework are understood and managed by process owners, with EY (SOX) and external auditor support.
• Sustain custodianship of financial controls by process owners.
• Lead Financial Control Assessments and remediation planning; coordinate with Global Risk & Controls when needed.
• Track audit findings and monitor control effectiveness.
• Lead audits by Corporate Audit and External Audit; support control evaluations for New Business Models and automation initiatives such as BOTs and RPA.
• Support Business Integrity audits when necessary and lead internal risk-focused audits.
