Autoliv in Mexico is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to drive end-to-end performance in a high-volume automotive environment. You will own operations, drive SQDCM results, and ensure strict operational excellence.

The role requires 9+ years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in a similar role, strong process-control and 8D/PDCA problem solving, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel willingness is expected.

• Proven leadership in automotive manufacturing with 9+ years, including 4+ in a similar role.
• Strong operational and technical expertise in process control and KPIs (OEE, scrap, delivery).
• Executive-level bilingual English/Spanish communication and willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Own and lead manufacturing performance end-to-end, driving SQDCM results and operational excellence in a high-volume automotive environment.
• Establish and enforce a high-discipline shopfloor operating system enabling fast escalation and data-driven decisions.
• Drive process stability and root cause problem solving (8D, PDCA) to deliver improvements in scrap, downtime, and productivity.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership culture, coaching supervisors and cross-functional teams for launches, audits, and compliance with IATF, EHS, and customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Own and lead manufacturing performance end-to-end, driving SQDCM results (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) and ensuring operational excellence in a high-volume automotive environment
• Establish and enforce a high-discipline shopfloor operating system (Tier 1-2-3, SQDCM boards, Jidoka), enabling fast escalation, data-driven decisions, and zero-loss mindset
• Drive process stability and operational robustness, leading root cause problem solving (8D, PDCA) and delivering sustainable improvements in scrap, downtime, and productivity
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership culture, coaching supervisors and cross-functional teams while ensuring successful launches, audit readiness, and full compliance with IATF, EHS, and customer requirements

What Is Required

• Proven leadership in automotive manufacturing, with 9+ years of experience (including 4+ in a similar role) managing production teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Strong operational and technical expertise, including process control, problem-solving methodologies (8D, PDCA), and performance management across key KPIs (OEE, scrap, delivery)
• Executive-level communication and influence, bilingual English/Spanish, with a hands‑on, ownership mindset and availability to travel
