PALO IT is seeking an AI Tech Lead in Mexico City to spearhead the design and implementation of robust AI-driven applications. You will guide cross-functional teams using Google Cloud Platform, React 18, TypeScript and Python FastAPI, while shaping data models with Firestore and Google Cloud SQL.

You will mentor engineers on Claude Code, GitHub PR-based workflows, and project tracking in GitHub Projects, ensuring quality and security across large-scale AI projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering/AI.
• 8+ years of software development experience with emphasis on AI and cloud computing.
• Proficient in GCP, React 18, TypeScript, Python FastAPI, Firestore, and Google Cloud SQL.
• Solid understanding of the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub PR-based workflows and GitHub Projects.
• History of leading technical teams and delivering large-scale AI-driven projects with focus on best practices and coding standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee AI service integration using the Google ADK and optimize their use across projects.

• Collaborate with product managers to define technical roadmaps and requirements.
• Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to maintain quality and security.
• Foster innovation and explore new AI technologies to improve engineering processes.

Your Role

As an AI Tech Lead, you will spearhead the design and implementation of robust AI-driven applications. You will leverage your expertise in various technologies to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and performance.

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative software applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), React 18, TypeScript, and Python FastAPI.
• Design and implement databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL to support scalable and efficient applications.
• Oversee the integration of AI services using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), optimizing their utility across projects.
• Mentor and coach the engineering team in best practices for utilizing Claude Code, GitHub (with PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and product requirements.
• Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to maintain high standards for software quality and security.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, exploring new AI technologies and methodologies that benefit the engineering process.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on AI technologies and cloud computing.
• Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), React 18, TypeScript, Python FastAPI, and modern databases (Firestore, Google Cloud SQL).
• Solid understanding of Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub (PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.
• History of leading technical teams and delivering large-scale AI-driven projects with a focus on best practices and coding standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding teams towards excellence.
