Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced AI and engineering leader to expand agentic AI workflows, integrate LLMs/VLMs, and build scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI.

You will own infrastructure as code, oversee CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and shape architectural decisions across cloud environments. A strong emphasis on testing, code quality, and responsible AI evals is required.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or principal-level capacity.
• Proven experience building agentic workflows, prompt engineering, integrating LLMs/VLMs into production systems, and utilizing AI evaluation frameworks.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP serverless architectures.
• Python proficiency; build high-throughput APIs with FastAPI; migrations; async/multiprocessing.
• Knowledge of Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GHA).
• Familiarity with image and video processing libraries; visual rendering workflows desirable.
• Strong experience with the C4 model and traditional design artifacts

Responsabilidades

• Agentic AI Development: Expand core AIHarnesses and pipelines; integrate and evaluate LLMs, VLMs, and APIs.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Oversee IaC across environments; maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentorship & Code Quality: Set standards; mentor engineers; conduct architectural reviews; ensure testing.
• Cross-Stack Contribution: Apply knowledge of theories, practices and design matters.
• Service Development: Build and maintain scalable backend microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• AI Tooling & Integrations: Develop tools and guardrails; integrate AI endpoints.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement distributed workflows for high-volume orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform contributions across resources.
• Full-Stack Contribution: Contribute to modern backend orchestration or web frontends.
• Testing & CI/CD: Write robust tests for APIs and AI outputs.
