Outlier is seeking a QA coder to review AI-generated code, flag issues, and rate model responses to improve AI performance. You will also craft clear, well-structured prompts to challenge the models and advance their coding abilities.

The role is a freelance, 1099 contract position with flexible, remote work from anywhere, including Latin America and Mexico. Base pay can reach up to $34 USD/hr, with additional incentives based on project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across dimensions such as accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions to challenge AI models and push their coding ability.
