DEUNA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our AI/ML engineering team behind payment routing optimization, authorization rate improvement, and our AI-powered digital workforce products. You will manage a team of engineers (currently :7-8) spanning ML, backend, and platform work, while guiding architecture decisions and coaching engineers.

This is a hands‑on management role: you won't write production code day-to-day, but you need depth in ML systems, backend services, and AI/LLM workflows

Formación

• 8+ years in software engineering with 2–3+ years in people management.
• Experience building and shipping backend and ML systems at scale, ideally fintech/payments.
• Direct experience hiring, developing and retaining engineers.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI/ML systems, LLM workflows, and AI orchestration.
• Ability to translate product vision into technical roadmaps and drive delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow AI/ML and platform engineers (7–8 people).
• Guide architecture decisions, review designs, and coach engineers.
• Set engineering standards, testing strategy, and CI/CD practices.
• Own costing, sequencing, and delivery commitments for initiatives.
• Ensure PCI-DSS, data handling, observability, and reliability requirements.
