Enroute is seeking a forward-thinking AI Enablement Engineer to accelerate engineering teams by integrating cutting-edge AI into the SDLC. You will identify, implement, and optimize AI tools, scripts, and custom harnesses to improve developer productivity and connect internal data with AI assistants using MCP.

The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, has scripting expertise to build robust integrations, and can monitor AI usage across the organization. Strong Python/Bash skills are required.

Formación

• Experience augmenting the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with AI.
• Experience building and deploying custom AI harnesses, internal chatbots, and integrations.
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI models with data sources.
• Experience implementing telemetry and monitoring for AI usage (tracking API costs, latency, effectiveness).
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) and their strengths/limitations.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and determine the most effective AI tools and models for engineering challenges across the SDLC.
• Design, script, and deploy custom AI harnesses, internal chatbots, and MCP integrations.
• Monitor and analyze enterprise AI usage, optimizing cost, performance, and accuracy.
• Act as an internal evangelist and educator, training engineering teams on prompts and AI tool usage.
