Job summary

EXL is seeking an AI, Software & Cloud Architect to design scalable, secure technology solutions that blend AI, software engineering, and cloud platforms. You will provide technical leadership across solution architecture and cloud-native delivery.

This role works with business stakeholders, engineering, security, data, and platform teams to translate needs into architecture patterns and implementation roadmaps, ensuring non-functional requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in solution architecture across AI, software, and data platforms.
• Experience designing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across AI, software applications, data platforms, APIs, and cloud services.
• Define architecture standards, patterns, principles, and reusable reference designs.
• Lead the design of AI-enabled solutions including generative AI, ML, automation, and analytics apps.
• Architect scalable cloud-native platforms using AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid cloud.
• Guide application modernization: microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven, API-led integration.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and cloud engineers to move AI from prototype to production.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, availability, performance, resilience, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Review technical designs and provide architecture governance throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Support cloud migration strategies and modernization roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging AI, software, and cloud technologies and recommend adoption approaches.
• Partner with security architects to embed security and responsible AI by design.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
