Job summary

Nutanix is seeking an AI Agent Engineer in Mexico City to rapidly prototype revenue-focused AI use cases and turn them into production-ready tools. You will build agents and reusable skills across platforms, connecting CRM, CPQ, data warehouse, and knowledge bases with external data sources.

You will ship working prototypes within days, collaborate with the AI Product Manager and sales teams, and ensure the prototypes deliver measurable value with real users and data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar hands‑on technical role, 2 years building LLM‑powered applications or agents.
• Shipped at least five AI agents or LLM workflows used by real business users on real data, not demos only.
• Strong Python and SQL. Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, JSON, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with agentic or skill‑building platforms: Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Gemini Enterprise, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI (Agents SDK, custom GPTs).
• Experience connecting AI systems to enterprise data: CRM, data warehouses, document stores, and third‑party APIs.

Responsibilities

• Take a revenue use case from conversation to working prototype within days.
• Prototyping AI agents and reusable skills across platforms.
• Connect agents to internal systems (CRM, CPQ, data warehouse, knowledge bases).
• Work with MCP servers, APIs, and connectors for governed access to revenue data.
• Integrate external data sources and reconcile with internal records.
