Job summary

GE Aerospace in Mexico is seeking an engineering student to support test cell correlation activities for commercial applications. You will collaborate with Performance Engineering, other engineering teams, and suppliers to drive process improvements and standardization.

You will gain hands-on experience in an aerospace engineering organization while contributing to a Knowledge Hub using automation and AI tools, with a focus on learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, or Energy).
• Fluency in English; strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability of 30 hours per week; in-person work at GEIQ facilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
• Background in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Statistics is a plus.
• Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma is desirable.
• Project management skills and experience using AI tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives related to test cell correlation projects.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve project management activities and develop a Knowledge Hub using automation and/or AI tools.
• Gather input from experienced team members to support documentation and tool standardization across teams.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project and business objectives.
• Demonstrate engineering judgment, learning agility, and attention to detail in assigned tasks.
• Present and substantiate results from your work to peers, senior leadership, and direct leaders.
