Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Mexico is seeking an MRO Design Intern to support the MRO/Customization area across design and engineering initiatives. You will assist with project concepts, prepare presentations, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal standards, under guidance from area specialists.

The role focuses on learning through hands-on tasks, documentation review, and support across workshops in Querétaro. The program includes mentorship and exposure to aerospace practices.

Qualifications

• Active student in final terms of a technical or engineering degree.
• Theoretical understanding of aircraft structures or aeronautical design.
• Technical English reading comprehension.
• CAD tools knowledge: CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the MRO/Customization team with design tasks and presentations.
• Review technical manuals and service bulletins for design work.
• Identify and organize data, parts, and tooling for workshops.
• Support compliance with internal standards and AS9100.
• Attend safety briefings and report hazards in the hangar.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to learn processes.
