Description

  • Elicit and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and technical teams related to the remediation of AEM legacy code for cloud compatibility.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements in clear, structured formats (user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability matrices, etc.).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including:
  • Architectural diagrams
  • Decision logs
  • Interface specifications
  • Knowledge transfer materials
  • Ensure traceability between business needs, system behavior, and test cases.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a bridge between software architects, developers, QA, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Support change management activities when requirements evolve during the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • + 4 years of experience as Requirements Engineering – techniques like interviews, workshops, use case modeling, and gap analysis.
  • Technical Documentation – ability to produce architecture diagrams, data flows, and decision records using tools like: Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar
  • UML / BPMN – modeling processes and systems where needed.
  • AEM context understanding – general knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager architecture and terminology (JCR, components, templates).
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – understanding of Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Traceability management – using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or DOORS.
  • Versioned documentation – managing doc changes with Git, Confluence, or enterprise DMS.
  • API understanding – ability to read and describe RESTful service behavior at a conceptual level.
  • Testing alignment – support test teams in validating that implementation matches requirements.
  • Data handling & transformation logic – where relevant for backend or integration requirements.
