Danfoss is seeking an Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer for the Americas Foundry Commodities to drive supplier readiness and conformance at launch. You will lead APQP, PPAP, and risk assessments with cross-functional teams to secure successful product launches and ongoing quality.

You will work with Sourcing Project Managers and suppliers across the Americas, applying IATF16949 tools and driving continuous improvement while traveling up to 25% for supplier activities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience with foundry processes, APQP, PPAP, and change control.
• Strong background in root cause problem solving and application of ISO/IATF16949 quality tools (MSA, SPC, FMEA, CQI assessments).
• Effective leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills with a sense of urgency and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to a quarter of the time for supplier engagement and project activities.

• Support sourcing projects with feasibility studies, technical documentation reviews, and corrective action verification.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage APQP, facilitate PMR meetings, and ensure successful PPAP submissions.
• Use your skills in foundry processes, root cause analysis, and quality tools to resolve issues during Safe Launch and throughout product lifecycle.
• Continuously improve supplier quality performance through risk gap closure, problem-solving, and ongoing development initiatives.
