Vertiv is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production plans and lead NPDI initiatives across locations. You will manage end-of-line testing, capital projects, and transfers while driving Lean practices.

Responsibilities include developing manufacturing plans for new products, supporting cost analyses, and enabling rapid prototype builds with engineering teams to improve throughput and efficiency.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of formalized Advanced and Lean Manufacturing applications.
• Extensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.
• Excellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment.
• Demonstrated strong project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team building and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Align manufacturing plans with product roadmaps with business leaders.
• Oversee End of Line Testing Equipment, parameters, scripts and Capex.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans for new products per NPDI program.
• Support plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
• Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
• Identify and pilot advanced manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices. Capital projects that support Growth, NPDI, Product Transfers, Technical Capacity and Footprint associated
• Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
• Execute Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and NPDI deliverables.
• Lead prototype builds with the local operation team to achieve 2 weeks LT.
• Accountable and Supportive Role for Engineering Prototype builds with Design Engineering.
• Actively intervenes in growth strategies for assigned BU, footprint and technical capacity definition.
• Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
• Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
