A leading manufacturing firm in Mexico is seeking an experienced engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing Department. The role involves ensuring smooth project launches and providing input for new product development. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, alongside 5–7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering. The position also requires strong skills in APQP, PPAP, and Lean Manufacturing principles, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Experience with CAD tools and manufacturing process simulation.

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Advanced Manufacturing Department.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Ensure smooth new project launch at IEE GDL by being the interface between the overseas project development team and the local team
• Provide local input to process development activities for new products, including participation in APQP and feasibility reviews
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
• Ensures that production equipment, tooling, fixtures, automation, and Poka-Yoke systems is implemented in Mexico in a timely manner
• Lead Run-at-Rate, trial builds, and support PPAP submissions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to advanced manufacturing technologies
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, and customer-specific requirements

You would need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• 5–7 years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing engineering
• Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, Feasibility reviews, and process validation
• Experience with CAD tools and manufacturing process simulation. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related
