Mission

Use your knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products by designing, testing, and validating products from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.

Technical contribution

  • Assist in designing electrical systems for automated industries according to customer requirements and safety standards such as NEC and NFPA.
  • Perform commissioning activities and troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Prepare electrical drawings including models, layouts, schematics, network stick drawings, and cable routing, along with preliminary FLA.
  • Understand project priorities and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Review specifications.
  • Exchange task-level information.
  • Communicate non-compliance incidents.
  • Prepare or update reports and documentation.

Day-to-day processes and tools

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Vault.
  • Familiar with using electrical hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers.
  • Understand project priorities and resource planning.
  • Knowledge of VFD parametrization for Allen Bradley and Eaton drives.
  • Understanding of basic safety requirements (LOTO, electrical hazards, working at heights).
  • Familiarity with cost-saving analysis.
  • Risk and safety awareness.
  • Ability to identify and report potential overcosts.

You must have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar role, including AutoCAD electrical material handling.
  • Basic knowledge of VFD.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70-80% of the time.
  • Experience in designing conveyors, layouts, and electrical systems.
  • Basic project management knowledge.
  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM).
