Descripción del empleo

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers.

Amazon is seeking a Regional Field Leader to work within the Mx Sort Center Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Field Team.

Our Customers:

  • Primary: The Amazon customer is the primary customer whose needs (reducing variable cost structure and improving on-time delivery) are directly addressed by the Field Team by reducing cost to serve, package-level late departures, and mis-sorted shipments.
  • Secondary: MXSC Operations is the secondary customer, specifically entry level associates to executive Directors within the 3, plus Cross Border first-party Sort Centers in Mx. This organization benefits from the Field Team by using the audit and review mechanisms we manage. Additionally, Operations benefits from the team’s direct on-site support, training, mentorship, and advising.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Sort Center Operations Planning and Execution (SCOPE) Audit program: We establish, maintain, advance, plan, and execute site-level audits for under-the-roof operational performance gaps.
  2. Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) Review program: We establish, maintain, advance, schedule, and facilitate sub-regional reviews to identify and correct performance gaps in quality, cost, and delivery.
  3. On-Site Support: We provide on-site support during High Volume Events (HVE’s) or in other special circumstances at high-risk Sort Centers.
  4. Process, Product, and Program Support: We work backwards from problem statements and use customer anecdotes to drive the feedback loop of new business requirements for technology, programs, and processes.

This role requires travel 50% of the time.

A day in the life: The NASC ACES Field Leader is an Operations Partner. Each day is spent working side by side with Operational leaders, including Regional Directors, General Managers, and Site Leaders. A typical day includes collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Field Finance, Amazon Box Truck Network (ABTN), Labor Planning, various NASC ACES teams, and Performance teams to solve problems. Leading through influence is a critical skill set of the role.

This position is responsible for conducting SCOPE Audits and owning the Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) Dashboard mechanism. This includes facilitating an A3 style call, evaluating / conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and identifying standard work deviations.

About the team: We are committed to drive down under-the-roof operating cost through standard work reinforcement. We do this by initiating, cultivating, and perfecting world-class management systems such as auditing, weekly reviews, and assisting with product and program application.
