Epicor Software Corporation is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial obligations. The role collaborates with vendors, procurement, and finance to support efficient AP operations and process improvements.

You will review invoices, match to documentation, and assist with month-end close, accruals, and audits. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of AP experience and strong Excel skills in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ years of accounts payable or related experience.
• Experience with ERP/financial management systems preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the accounts payable process accurately and on time.
• Review, validate and process vendor invoices & payment requests.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, contracts, and supporting documentation; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely input of data into the system.
• Respond to vendor and stakeholder inquiries regarding invoice status and payments.
• Maintain vendor master data and supporting records in accordance with policies and controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations and audits.
• Ensure adherence to authorized signature list approvals and purchasing cycle policies.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.

The Accounts Payable Specialist supports accurate and timely processing of company financial obligations. Therole reviews invoices, maintains vendor records, resolves payment discrepancies, and ensures transactions comply with established accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements. The specialist works closely with vendors, employees, Procurement, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to support efficient accounts payable operations and continuous process improvement.

What you will be doing:

• Execute the accounts payable process accurately and in time.
• Review, validate and process vendor invoices & payment requests accurately and within established service-level timelines.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, contracts, and supporting documentation, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Ensure timely input of data into the system.
• Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding invoice status, payment timing, account balances, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data and supporting records in accordance with company policies, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, reporting, audit requests, and outstanding invoice reviews.
• Ensure adherence to authorized signature list approvals and purchasing cycle policies.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.

What you will likely bring:

• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent problem-solving, time-management and organizations skills; must be able to prioritize workload
• Professional, efficient and detail-oriented
• Basic Accounting knowledge a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 1+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience working with an ERP or financial management system preferred.
