A multinational paint company located in Querétaro is looking for an AP Analyst Specialist. Responsibilities include providing customer service for accounts payable, monitoring payment processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a multinational environment. Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting practices is essential.

The AP Analyst Specialist is responsible to assist and support to both internal and supplier contacts fordocuments into the account payable. This position performs daily analysis, reporting and discrepancyfollowing activities to ensure timing payments. Must have basic knowledge of MX GAAP, NIF’s, SOX’S, and
Internal Controls based on PPG guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Customer Service assistance to both internal (employees) and external (supplier) users.
• Monitoring and following up for strategic suppliers.
• Ensuring payments be released properly and timely
• Supporting with documents and evidence related to payments for Auditors (internal and external)
• Follow up to any auditor requirement
• Discrepancy follow up (quantity and price) with owner teams.
• Monitoring ageing of account payable and GRNI account
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards according PPG guidelines.
• Monitoring and follow-up of reject payments.
• Follow up on prepayment justifications.
• Bank reconciliations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- English: Intermediate-High

-Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related)
-Previous experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a multinational company
-ERP knowledge for AP module (Oracle/SAP)
-Understanding of accounting entries and account reconciliation
-Intermediate-High knowledge in Excel
-General knowledge of MX GAAP, NIF’s, and Latin-American Taxes
