Job summary

Clorox Mexico is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Tlalnepantla, with responsibilities that support accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. You’ll contribute to key accounting operations, from invoice processing and GR/IR reconciliations to month-end closing, performance analysis, and the development of dashboards to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in CPG or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including GR/IR and invoicing.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform GR/IR reconciliations in SAP S/4HANA and resolve discrepancies.
• Support invoice processing, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Analyze financial and operational data, including KPIs, SLAs, backlog and productivity metrics.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into performance.
• Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and SAP automation.
• Ensure data accuracy and audit documentation.

Your role at Clorox:

At Clorox, we’re looking for a Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Tlalnepantla.

In this role, you’ll contribute to key accounting and financial operations, from financial reporting and reconciliations to invoice management and performance analysis. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

In this role, you will:

• Perform GR/IR reconciliations in SAP S/4HANA and resolve discrepancies across purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
• Support invoice processing, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial and operational data, including KPIs, SLAs, backlog, aging, and productivity metrics.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into performance and support decision-making.
• Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably in CPG or manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including GR/IR reconciliation and invoice processing.
• Advanced Excel, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with KPIs and operational metrics.
• US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills
