LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join the Americas-focused BSO team. You will process payables, verify invoices, reconcile the AP ledger and assist on month-end close in line with LEGO procedures.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and SAP or another ERP, plus a degree in Accounting or Finance. Fluent English and strong attention to detail are essential for supporting audits and reporting across global stakeholders.
Job Description Play your part in our team success: The Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant will become part of the established support department, mainly covering the Americas while also providing global support. The AP Accountant supports processes within the BSO department in collaboration with different stakeholders across the LEGO Group. The Accountant contributes to the overall success of the BSO and LEGO strategies by delivering high-quality execution and a great service experience, supporting the Procure to Pay processes aligned with LEGO procedures and policies.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. Preferred degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Affairs or a related field. Experience in Procure to Pay functions. Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. SAP knowledge preferred, or experience with another ERP system. Experience working in highly collaborative environments. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Fluent English reading, writing and speaking skills.
