Formación

• 5-7 años de experiencia en contabilidad y fiscalidad en empresas multinacionales.
• Sólidos conocimientos de la legislación fiscal mexicana y procesos de cumplimiento.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar la preparación y presentación de declaraciones fiscales en México.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las leyes fiscales locales y políticas fiscales globales.

What you'll do

• Lead the preparation, review, and submission of all tax returns and filings in Mexico (e.g., VAT, CIT, local taxes).
• Interpret and apply IFRS and Mexican tax legislation with sound technical judgment.
• Provide technical support and guidance on IFRS and tax matters to local and international stakeholders.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, manage audits, and resolve any arising issues.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation in accounting & tax reporting and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax laws and global tax policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Prepare tax provisions for financial reporting purposes under local and international accounting standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including finance, legal, and operations.

What makes you a good fit

• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting and tax within multinational companies or Big 4 firms.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and practical experience in tax planning, compliance, and audits.
• Demonstrated ability to lead accounting and tax compliance processes and manage complex filings.
• Solid background in accounting processes, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and work across teams — prior team management is not required but considered a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Process improvement mindset and experience with automation tools preferred.
