Michael Page International México Reclutamiento Especializado S.A. de C.V. busca un líder de contabilidad para supervisar operaciones financieras y cierres mensuales, trimestrales y anuales, asegurando precisión y cumplimiento de políticas internas.

El candidato ideal tiene trayectoria de 8+ años en contabilidad, experiencia en multinacionales y al menos 2 años gestionando equipos. Se valorará experiencia en firmas de auditoría (Big Four) y entorno internacional.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• Advanced English is non-negotiable
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience required
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience
• Experience in multinational environments or with regional/international operations preferred
• Audit firm/Big Four background is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage accounting and financial operations, ensuring timely closings
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions and integrity of accounting data
• Supervise preparation and analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
• Ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory/tax requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with auditors
• Strengthen internal controls through policy implementation and improvements
• Lead and develop the accounting team for high performance
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to enable timely, reliable insights

Descripción

• Oversee and manage the organization's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure the proper recording of financial transactions, maintaining the integrity of accounting information and compliance with corporate policies.
• Supervise the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, as well as applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and other key stakeholders.
• Strengthen the internal control environment through the implementation and continuous improvement of financial policies, procedures, and practices.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with finance and business teams to support decision-making through reliable financial information and timely analysis.

Perfil buscado

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Advanced conversational English (non-negotiable).
• More than 8 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience.
• Experience working within multinational organizations or environments with regional and international operations.
• Previous experience in an audit firm/Big Four environment will be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
