HR Path Group, a global leader in HR consulting, seeks an Accounting Director to join in Mexico and oversee accounting and financial reporting for four countries (Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia). Reporting to the CFO, you will manage close processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, strong knowledge of LATAM rules, SAP FI experience, and professional English.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in international environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with LATAM accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other financial partners.
• Monitor and strengthen internal accounting processes and controls.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of accounting data.
• Work closely with the CFO and other departments on financial and accounting matters.
• Lead, coordinate and support the accounting team (11 people).
• Contribute to the optimization and digitalization of finance processes and systems.

YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Director to join our team in Mexico and take responsibility for the company’s accounting and financial reporting activities.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the accounting function, ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes and controls for 4 countries : Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities :

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of Mexico and LATAM (ideally including Chile, Peru, and Colombia) accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience managing or coordinating an accounting team.
• SAP FI experience is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.Autonomous, rigorous and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Spanish: a strong level is highly desirable.
• English: professional proficiency required.
• French: a strong advantage
