Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team in Mexico. The successful candidate will manage financial operations including:

• Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Tax Compliance, and General Accounting Activities, with a strong understanding of local tax regulations.
• Processing vendor invoices, ensuring proper validation.
• Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Preparing and sending invoices, including VAT compliance checks.
• Processing and reconciling Complemento de Pago (Payment Receipts), ensuring accurate reporting of partial and full payments.
• Calculating and analyzing PDD for expected credit losses, following IFRS 9 and local standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of PDD adjustments and reconciling with financial statements.
• Reconciling AR accounts and following up on overdue payments.
• Supporting cash application and bank reconciliations.
• Performing daily closing and balancing of payments and receipts.
• Applying general account knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, with general tax knowledge.
• Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Good communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
