Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Accountant I to join our Finance team. You will manage financial operations, support cross-functional collaboration, and drive accurate reporting in a global environment.

Ideal candidates have Maquiladora experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and proficiency in Prosys ERP and Excel. You will contribute to tax compliance, month-end close, and process improvements while upholding integrity and ethics.

Formación

• Maquiladora plant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Prosys ERP and Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Experience with account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Knowledge of monthly taxes, VAT refunds, DIOT, ISN, tax reports and payroll tax compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Experience with financial reporting tools and systems is a plus.
