We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to work with our MezTal team. This role is ideal for professionals who have at least 1 year of experience in U.S. accounting processes, a strong command of US GAAP, and are comfortable working in English on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end close activities for U.S. entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports.
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, intercompany, accruals, etc.).
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to support audits and reporting needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and adjustments.
• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in accounting for U.S. entities or under U.S. standards.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability.
• Availability to work hybrid from Guadalajara.

Montlhy Salary: gross monthly salary of 20,000 - 25,000 MXN.
