A leading inventory management firm in Mexico is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience and proven inventory control expertise. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing data for strategic decisions, and coordinating with various departments. Strong skills in ERP systems and advanced Excel are essential for this role.

Formación

  • 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Inventory control experience is a MUST.
  • Familiarity with tax and accounting regulations related to inventory and costing.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage and maintain inventory management systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels for accuracy.

  • Manage and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and minimize shortages or overstock situations.
  • Control all the transactions that affect the inventory
  • Develop and implement procedures for inventory control and forecasting.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales to ensure efficient inventory flow.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT or vendors to implement improvements or upgrades.
  • Support system integrations and testing during ERP or WMS implementations or enhancements.
  • Train team members on system processes, reporting, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations for inventory management.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
